{"id":715,"date":"2020-03-27T10:41:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-27T10:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upgreat.pl\/?p=715"},"modified":"2022-04-19T10:42:38","modified_gmt":"2022-04-19T10:42:38","slug":"zakonczenie-wsparcia-firmy-microsoft-dla-systemu-windows-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.upgreat.pl\/en\/blog\/zakonczenie-wsparcia-firmy-microsoft-dla-systemu-windows-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft&#039;s support for Windows 7 has ended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On January 14, 2020, the support period for Windows 7 has ended.<br>We are aware that changes to the configuration of production systems can be difficult and that is why we offer our help during this process: we will discuss possible solutions with you, advise what to do next and answer questions regarding&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/lifecycle\/search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lifecycle of Microsoft products<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does end of support mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning January 14, 2020, your Windows 7 PC will continue to function, but Microsoft will no longer provide the following services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>technical support regarding any problems,<\/li><li>software update,<\/li><li>security updates and patches.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can continue to use your Windows 7 computer without constantly installing software and security updates, however this will increase your risk of virus and malware infections. In the future, the best way to stay safe is to switch to Windows 10. Windows 10 is best for a new computer.
