According to Check Point, in 2024 the number of cyberattacks in Poland could exceed a record number of 110 thousand. Previous forecasts indicated the possibility of reaching the level of 100 thousand attacks, which would mean an increase by a quarter compared to 2023, when about 80 thousand attacks were recorded. Although phishing constitutes the majority of attacks, it is ransomware that is the most serious and destructive threat, responsible for 25% reported incidents in the European Union according to the ENISA report. A successful ransomware attack completely prevents the functioning of a company or organization, most often means a serious leak of sensitive data and can be a factor in lowering the company's reputation. Examples of such attacks include loss of data of all Danish CloudNordic customers in 2023 and the recent devastating attack on the MSWiA hospital in Krakow. You can learn more about ransomware and the consequences of attacks at article on our technical blog. During the meeting, we will discuss the mechanisms of operation and the most common cyber threats currently occurring.
In this part of the presentation we will discuss the functionalities of the solutions netapp such as AI-powered Autonomous Ransomware Protection (ARP), Post-Quantum Cryptography, Multi-Admin Verification (MAV), Cyber Vaulting & Air-Gapped WORM. On the other hand Exagrid offers Clients Retention Time-Lock, Immutable Objects, and Delayed Deletion. Each of these products can be used to build effective protection against data loss caused by a ransomware attack.
During the meeting we will present three Polish products for IT systems.
